Key points for choosing:
The chest is the main criterion: dogs vary a lot in weight and chest width, so use weight only as a reference and measure the widest part of the chest first;
Leave about two fingers of space when measuring the neck and chest to avoid a tight fit;
If the measurements are close to the maximum chest size of a particular size, go up one size; dogs with wide chests, strong muscles, or that are on the heavier side should also go up a size.
